SoC Team | Reverse Engineering Analyst

Conduct structured analysis of competitor IC devices using legal, ethical methodologies. Findings directly inform flight controller SoC architecture decisions — identifying differentiation opportunities, process node choices, and make-vs-buy IP decisions. 

• Plan and execute structured teardown of competitor ICs: die photography, layer deprocessing, SEM/TEM imaging, and circuit extraction. 

• Produce architectural analysis reports: infer CPU micro-architecture, memory topology, peripheral set, package type, and process node. 

• Benchmark competitor flight controller devices against the SoC specification: PPA comparison and market positioning analysis. 

• Deliver competitive intelligence briefs to SoC Architecture and PMO leadership with actionable differentiation insights. 

• Maintain competitor database: die photos, estimated specs, and product release timelines. 

• Collaborate with IP Purchasing to identify third-party IP in competitor devices and inform make-vs-buy decisions. 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in EE, Microelectronics, or related field. 

• 5+ years IC reverse engineering, failure analysis, or competitive intelligence. 

• Hands-on with SEM/TEM, FIB, and die photography techniques. 

• Strong ability to infer micro-architecture from circuit and layout analysis. 

• Familiarity with flight controller, MCU, or real-time SoC competitive landscape. 

• Good English and Vietnamese skills.
