Global Project | Senior STA Engineer

• Develop SDC (Synopsys Design Constraints) files for hierarchical blocks in large-scale SoC designs.
• Perform Static Timing Analysis (STA) and develop SDC files for the full chip.
• Analyze timing violations, identify root causes, and propose appropriate corrective actions.
• Review timing reports to identify constraint issues and ensure the accuracy and completeness of timing constraints.

• Solid fundamental knowledge of Middle-End design, including netlists, asynchronous clocks, metastability, and related concepts.
• Hands-on experience with PrimeTime for Static Timing Analysis (STA) and timing verification.
• Ability to analyze timing violation root causes and propose effective solutions.
• Strong understanding of clock constraints, exception constraints, and port constraints, with the ability to identify constraint deficiencies through report analysis.
• Proficiency in Tcl scripting, debugging verification environments, and using scripting/programming languages to improve work efficiency.
• Experience with logic synthesis, SDC checking tools, and formal equivalence checking tools.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good English Communication.

Preferred Qualifications

• Practical experience with SDC checking tools such as PrimeTime and GCA.
• Experience with timing closure tools such as PrimeTime-ECO and Tweaker.
• Experience developing external AC timing constraints and successfully achieving timing closure.
• Hands-on experience with logic synthesis tools such as Design Compiler.
• Practical experience with formal equivalence checking tools such as Formality and Conformal.
• Hands-on experience with UPF-based power verification using tools such as VCLP and Formality.
