Reverse Engineering Analyst

• Plan and execute structured teardown of competitor ICs: die photography, layer deprocessing, SEM/TEM imaging, circuit extraction. 
• Produce architectural analysis reports: infer CPU micro-architecture, memory topology, peripheral set, package type, process node. 
• Benchmark competitor devices against Fvision SoC specifications: PPA comparison and market positioning analysis. 
• Deliver competitive intelligence briefs to SoC Architecture and PMO leadership with actionable differentiation insights. 
• Maintain competitor database: die photos, estimated specs, and product release timelines. 
• Collaborate with IP Purchasing to identify third-party IP in competitor devices and inform make-vs-buy decisions. 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in EE, Microelectronics, or related field. 
• 5+ years in IC design, failure analysis, or competitive intelligence roles. 
• Deep understanding of CMOS process technology, IC design principles, and circuit topologies. 
• Experience with SEM/optical microscopy for die analysis, or willingness to train. 
• Excellent analytical and technical writing skills; communicate complex findings to non-expert audiences. 
• Good English and Vietnamese communication skills. 

Nice to Have 

• Professional IC RE tool and methodology experience. 
• Analog/mixed-signal circuit analysis. MCU/SoC familiarity in drone, automotive, or IoT markets.
