- Manage end-to-end IP procurement: vendor identification, RFQ, technical evaluation, negotiation, contract execution, license compliance.
- Negotiate EDA site licenses with Synopsys, Cadence, Siemens EDA, and ANSYS; optimize seat allocation and total cost of ownership.
- Source and evaluate semiconductor IP: Arm CPU licenses, AMBA interconnect, PLL/ADC, CAN-FD; and for FV938 Camera SoC: MIPI CSI-2/DSI IP, ISP IP, H.264/H.265 video encoder IP, image signal processor macros.
- Maintain IP registry: license entitlements, version dependencies, royalty schedules, tapeout rights, and EOL dates.
- Collaborate with SoC Architecture on make-vs-buy decisions; translate architectural requirements into procurement specs.
- Monitor IP market landscape; identify new protocol IP relevant to Fvision roadmap (PCIe Gen4/5, DDR5, USB4).

Responsibilities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years in semiconductor IP licensing, EDA procurement, or technical purchasing.
- Solid understanding of IP types: hard IP, soft IP, configurable IP, and licensing models (royalty, flat-fee).
- Experience negotiating commercial agreements with global technology vendors.
- Working familiarity with EDA tool suites: Synopsys (DC, VCS, ICC2), Cadence (Genus, Innovus, Xcelium), Siemens Calibre.
- Good English and Vietnamese communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Direct experience with Arm architecture licenses (ALA, ATL) or Arm Flexible Access agreements.
- Open-source IP licensing (Apache 2.0, CERN OHL) and compliance for commercial SoC use.
