Electrical Design Engineer (OrCAD, Altium)

1. Schematic Design

• Design and modify electrical schematics using OrCAD, Altium Designer, or equivalent ECAD software.
• Create, update, and maintain electrical schematic drawings.
• Redraw and standardize existing electrical drawings in accordance with customer specifications and standards.

2. Harness & Cable Drawing

• Design wire harness and cable drawings.
• Route and manage signal/power cables.
• Generate cable lists and wiring documentation.

3. BOM & Documentation Management

• Manage Bills of Materials (BOM) based on EPLAN drawings.
• Perform Excel-related tasks for BOMs and material lists.
• Manage revisions and handle document control.

4. Collaboration

• Coordinate with client engineers throughout the design process.
• Support drawing reviews and technical discussions.
• Communicate with mechanical and control teams as required.

1. Mandatory Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Industrial Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Systems, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with OrCAD, Altium Designer, or equivalent electrical schematic design software.
• Proven experience in electrical schematic design.
• Good understanding of electrical control panels and industrial automation systems.
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for BOM and engineering data management.

2. Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using EPLAN.
• Experience in wire harness and cable drawing design.
• Experience working in the semiconductor equipment or industrial automation industry.
• Experience in BOM management and engineering document control.
• Experience working with South Korean customers or business partners is a strong advantage.
• Willingness and ability to work on long-term onsite assignments in South Korea.
