During this meeting, FPT Semiconductor’s CEO – Mr. Nguyen Vinh Quang, introduced our cutting-edge PMIC solutions and other applications, coupled with exploring further potential international collaboration.
Meeting with CEO and President of ABOV Semiconductor to open new international collaboration
Established in 2006, ABOV Semiconductor is a renowned company from South Korea, which specializes in designing and manufacturing microcontrollers, non-volatile memory, and other semiconductor control solutions.
With nearly a decade of its establishment and development in the semiconductor field, ABOV Semiconductor has been devoted to offer comprehensive and solution-specific products for industrial equipment, in-home appliances, sensors, fire safety, remote controls, and 32/8-bit microcontrollers. By launching over 500 products annually, ABOV has achieved significant milestones, with a revenue exceeding $167 million in 2024.

In the meeting. Mr. Nguyen Vinh Quang, FPT Semiconductor’s CEO, presented to Mr. Won Choi a variety of products that had been made from FPT Power Management ICs (PMICs) chip design.
Exploring International Collaboration with Korea
In addition, Mr. Nguyen Vinh Quang shared FPT Semiconductor’s strategy to focus on research & development (R&D) and training. Responding to this, Mr. Won Choi expressed his profound endorsements for this strategy-focused direction, which highlights the importance of R&D and training in Vietnam’s semiconductor sector.
Moreover, this meeting has also paved the way for in-depth business international collaboration between FPT Semiconductor and ABOV Korea in advanced tech-based solutions, particularly in PMIC, advanced packaging and testing. Also, Mr. Choi stressed his potential point for further collaborations with FPT Corporation generally and FPT Semiconductor particularly in the semiconductor field.
