From May 20 to 22, 2025, FPT Semiconductor participated in Southeast Asia’s largest semiconductor industry exhibition – SEMICON Southeast Asia 2025 (SEMICON SEA) – held at Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Singapore. At SEMICON SEA 2025, FPT Semiconductor made a strong impression with a booth design inspired by Vietnamese heritage, gracefully combining national tradition with modern technology. Drawing inspiration from the Đông Sơn Drum – a cultural symbol of Vietnam – the booth intricately integrated practical applications of “Make in Vietnam, Made by FPT” chips into the patterns on the drum’s surface. The stylized motifs reflect the harmony of tradition and innovation, while conveying a message of pride in Vietnamese-engineered chips, which are being widely applied across various fields such as medical devices, smart wearables, fast chargers, and storage devices like SSDs.
The “FPT Chip Inside” ecosystem marks a significant step forward in enabling FPT Semiconductor to position Vietnamese chips as a crucial component of the global semiconductor industry. From 2023 to 2028, FPT Semiconductor has been and will continue to develop a portfolio of PMIC chip products, including Standard PMIC, AC-DC Converters, Buck-Boost, LDOs, and LED Drivers. By 2030, FPT Corporation and FPT Semiconductor aim to train 10,000 professionals for the semiconductor industry both in Vietnam and worldwide. Additionally, FPT Semiconductor is focusing on expanding the ecosystem into IC design, packaging, and testing, affirming Vietnam’s role as an important link in the global semiconductor value chain.
