On September 3, 2025, in Hanoi, on the occasion of the visit of H.E. Mr. Valentino Valentini, Italy’s Deputy Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy, who chaired the Vietnam–Italy Business Forum on the following day, FPT Semiconductor had the honor to welcome three distinguished Italian professors and experts in semiconductor materials: Professor Andrea Ferrari, Director of the Cambridge Graphene Centre; Co-founder and Advisor of CamGraPhIC Ltd – 2D Photonics spa., Dr Marco Romagnoli, Chief Scientific Officer and Co-Founder, CamGraPhIC Ltd. And 2D Photonics spa. Professor Marco Abbiati, Science and Technology Counsellor at the Embassy of Italy in Hanoi.

During the meeting, both sides discussed opportunities to foster collaboration and transfer advanced technologies from Italy and Europe to support FPT’s semiconductor projects.
The Italian visitors emphasized that this exchange could pave the way to further cooperation, laying the foundation for long-term partnerships in the semiconductors and photonics fields.

They also expressed strong impressions of FPT’s pioneering growth in the semiconductor sector and praised the company’s recent achievements, highlighting FPT’s potential to play a greater role in the global semiconductor value chain.
