On February 16, 2024, the training course “Fundamentals of VLSI Physical Design” organized by the collaboration of FPT Semiconductor and other prestigious organizations, announced the admission results after more than a week of talent recruitment announcements. Accordingly, 76 talented students have been awarded a 100% scholarship by the course’s Board of Course Organization.
In the festive atmosphere of the Year of the Dragon (Giap Thin), on the first days of the new year, the admissions committee for the “Fundamentals of VLSI Physical Design” training course announced the list of successful candidates as a congratulation to the course’s first batch of students.
Beyond being just a course, this is also a “New Year’s gift” that brings many distinctive values to the students. In addition to specialized knowledge, students also have the opportunity to connect with experts from leading semiconductor enterprises, experienced educational organizations in the semiconductor industry with a good reputation in the Vietnam, Japan, and U.S., etc.

Previously, on January 22, 2024, the “Fundamentals of VLSI Physical Design” course made an admission announcement, reaching many people, especially targeting large universities in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang. The training program is organized by the National Innovation Center of Vietnam (NIC) under the Ministry of Planning and Investment, in collaboration with FPT Corporation, represented by FPT Semiconductor Joint Stock Company; Tresemi organization from the US Silicon Valley; and Cadence Corporation, the world’s leading chip design company. The program also receives support from the University of Science and Technology, Da Nang University (DUT), and the University of Information Technology, Ho Chi
The first class will begin immediately after that, on February 20, 2024.
This specialized training course is considered a key project, aiming to boost the supply of high-quality semiconductor talents for Vietnam domestic semiconductor industry, with the expectation of training 50,000 semiconductor engineers by 2030 to meet market demand.
